Solveig's Ceramics

Solveig lives in Virginia, where she is inspired by her own cats, the purrfect models.    She starts each piece either by throwing it on a potters wheel or building it by hand with a slab roller or hand tools.    Then she uses pencil and brush on underglazes, kiln fire, dip in clear lead-free glaze, and fire again for these intensely colored, whimsical creations.
